Merging the realms of Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin (BTC) within the digital art sector, SuperRare, a distinguished Ethereum NFT art platform, has announced its foray into the Bitcoin Ordinals domain.
In collaboration with Gamma, SuperRare is debuting its inaugural Ordinals collection on April 11, showcasing unique pieces by Killer Acid, who is also venturing into the BTC NFT sphere for the first time.
Killer Acid’s ‘No Brainers’ collection—featuring 35 hand-drawn “psychedelic” pieces priced at 0.099 BTC each—is set to attract Bitcoin Ordinals enthusiasts to the SuperRare realm.
Bridging Creative Worlds
The Ordinals protocol is sparking new interest in the Bitcoin network regarding NFTs, challenging Ethereum’s dominance and transforming the market as platforms like Magic Eden embrace this relatively new technology.
According to the latest data from Crypto Slam, Ethereum NFTs have generated sales of $11.7 million in the past 24 hours. Bitcoin NFTs have achieved $8.1 million during the same time frame.
Still, as more artists and platforms explore Bitcoin Ordinals, the gap between Ethereum and Bitcoin in the digital art market is narrowing.
Buckling this trend not only diversifies NFT ecosystems, like SuperRare, but also fosters a new level of innovation and collaboration across blockchain networks, heralding a more integrated future for digital artistry.
